Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct routine and ad hoc quality audits of absence and accommodations cases across intake, ongoing management, return-to-work, and case closure.
  • •Evaluate case documentation, determinations, communications, and workflows for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PWFA, Workers’ Compensation).
  • •Score cases and interactions using established QA scorecards; provide timely, objective, actionable feedback and participate in calibration sessions.
  • •Analyze QA results, audit findings, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; prepare QA reports and insights for leadership.
  • •Partner with leaders and stakeholders to recommend process improvements and support updates to QA tools, scoring criteria, documentation standards, and adoption of new workflows or tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline plus 4 years of related experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations; alternatively, an equivalent combination (e.g., master’s + 2 years).
  • •Strong knowledge of self-funded and fully insured disability benefit programs, ERISA guidelines, and related leave/accommodation regulations.
  • •Practical working knowledge of leave and accommodation programs, including FMLA lifecycle administration, ADA interactive process and documentation, and PWFA pregnancy/childbirth-related accommodations support.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • •Experience using HRIS and leave/case management systems such as Workday, AbsenceTracker, Service Station, UKG, Kronos, or similar platforms.
