Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain analysis and simulation tools for Flight Dynamics & Controls and GNC teams, including parameter delivery pipelines, 6DOF plant model generation, and data validation tools.
  • •Own toolchain automation that generates, builds, tests, and deploys MATLAB/Simulink models and analysis code across desktop simulation, HIL, and flight targets.
  • •Architect and maintain CI/CD workflows and automated regression/verification testing for models and data pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab Runner, TeamCity, Simulink Test).
  • •Build and scale HPC infrastructure and job-scheduling workflows for large-scale 6DOF Monte Carlo simulations and batch regression testing (e.g., Slurm).
  • •Develop C/C++ integrations and manage data/interfaces between virtual vehicle simulation and downstream platforms, including schemas, signal mapping, and ICDs.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 8 years developing engineering analysis and simulation tools.
  • •Strong foundation in GNC, flight dynamics, and controls concepts.
  • •Expert-level proficiency building and integrating custom analysis tools in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
  • •Strong experience with model-based design and simulation in Simulink.
  • •Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for MATLAB/Simulink toolchains.
