Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee management of pediatric inpatients (ages 0–18) with respiratory conditions requiring physiotherapy, including outpatient caseloads.
  • •Handle specialist respiratory management for conditions such as non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), neuromuscular conditions (including SMA), tracheostomies and long-term ventilation, and NIV and related respiratory diseases.
  • •Provide highly specialist care in respiratory clinics (including bronchiectasis and PCD clinics) and act as an advisory and liaison resource to patients, families/caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • •Conduct patient assessments and re-assessments, establish patient goals and physiotherapy care plans using therapeutic techniques with or without assistive devices/equipment.
  • •Ensure compliance with clinical policies and safety requirements for physiotherapy equipment, including functional/calibration checks, infection control, incident reporting, inventory/supply management, and provide supervision/cross-cover as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree of Science in Physiotherapy and/or Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
  • •Current license of practice in country of origin or country of hire and/or Dubai Health Authority (DHA), United Arab Emirates.
  • •Minimum of two (2) years of experience post-certification as a Junior Physiotherapist/Physical Therapist.
  • •Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
  • •Ability to provide direct patient care including assessment and re-assessment and establishing physiotherapy goals and care plans.
