Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, maintain, and improve the algorithms and systems that researchers use to train models.
  • •Improve the speed, reliability, and ease-of-use of training systems.
  • •Develop systems that regularly launch training jobs in a test environment to quickly detect problems.
  • •Build instrumentation to detect and eliminate Python GIL contention in training code.
  • •Diagnose why training runs slow down after many steps and implement fixes.
