Job Summary

Develop technically grounded well intervention concepts that progress from opportunity framing through pre-FEED/FEED, execution, and post-job evaluation to support production restoration and integrity performance. Own intervention strategy for mature wells (including rigless interventions, workovers, recompletions, and abandonment preparation), apply downhole application expertise, integrate reservoir and HSE inputs into design, quantify value and execution risk for proposals, and provide technical assurance by reviewing scopes and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop fit-for-purpose intervention strategies for mature wells, including rigless interventions, workovers, recompletions, stimulation, cleanout, water shutoff, integrity remediation, and abandonment preparation.
•Select and challenge downhole technologies, tools, deployment methods, and operational envelopes to support production restoration, injectivity improvement, access remediation, and safe abandonment.
•Integrate reservoir, production, well integrity, completion, facilities, HSE, logistics, and commercial inputs during design and ask early questions to avoid unrealistic scopes.
•Apply lessons from field execution, including pre-job planning, operational constraints, post-job diagnostics, production/injectivity response, integrity confirmation, and lessons learned.
•Define intervention sequence and framing (resources, rig/rigless assumptions, pressure control needs, logistics, HSE exposure, cost drivers, schedule implications), quantify value and execution risk for proposals, and review scopes while mentoring junior engineers.
