Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive cross-functional new product development through ideation and implementation.
  • •Own mechanical design and make engineering decisions using technical analysis, test results, inspection reports, tooling assessments, DFMA, and cost metrics.
  • •Perform mechanical engineering work including creating CAD solid models, running design simulations, and supporting product specifications.
  • •Provide leadership for the mechanical team, including design oversight and mentoring of less experienced engineers.
  • •Support project management and multi-disciplinary execution using ProLaunch and business standard product development processes, plus VOC/benchmarking and qualification support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •5+ years designing and developing electromechanical products/systems, including design ideation and new concept generation.
  • •5+ years using CAD solid modeling and producing 2D drawings and assembly documentation with design intent.
  • •Ability to lead/own mechanical design decisions based on technical analysis, test results, inspection reports, tooling assessments, DFMA considerations, product cost metrics, and team input.
  • •Experience supporting design qualification and performance/reliability efforts for electro-mechanical systems and components.
