Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and adjust the gluer machine, troubleshoot, and monitor production to produce packaging that meets customer specifications.
  • •Perform make-ready tasks (feeding, take over/inverting of blanks, setting loading and blank heights) to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • •Resolve defects and adjustments, clear jams during processing, and maintain speed and product quality.
  • •Ensure job quality through reviews for accuracy and completeness, including checklists and customer expectation targets.
  • •Oversee general technicians and support compliance with OHSE and Clean policies, including PPE and hazardous material/waste handling.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED).
  • •3+ years of Folder/Gluer equipment operation within the food packaging industry.
  • •Experience with Bobst Alpina, Expertfold, and/or Heidelburg gluer preferred.
  • •Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • •Basic computer and math skills to compute percentages, weights, and measures.
