Key Responsibilities

  • •Compile, study, reconcile product requirements and standards to design, develop, validate, and document MCCB products.
  • •Lead project identification/prioritization to eliminate potential design and performance issues and enhance existing performance and margin.
  • •Perform modeling/simulation and design validation to ensure robust designs and adequate performance margins.
  • •Maintain product listings and address third-party testing non-conformances to minimize sales and delivery impact.
  • •Establish control plans and component/process verifications, define critical-to-quality characteristics, and support launch phases and production line support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred) from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical component/product design.
  • •Develop strong technical knowledge in circuit breaker design, testing, application, and governing regulatory standards (UL, CSA, IEC, NEMA, etc.).
  • •Experience using statistical quality tools to establish performance baselines and drive robustness improvements.
  • •Experience with engineering computer applications (e.g., Pro/Engineer Creo, Excel, and computer-based simulation modeling) or equivalent.
