Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide customer support on a Well Log Data Management project using AspenTech’s Formation Evaluation software
  • •Collect and consolidate well data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • •Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of well log data through detailed review and validation with data providers
  • •Oversee and validate petrophysical work, ensuring technical accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with project objectives
  • •Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and documentation to senior management and Customers

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Petrophysics, Geosciences, Earth Sciences or related discipline
  • •15+ years of industry experience as a Geologist, Petrophysicist, Well log Analyst or Geoscientist in the oil and gas industry
  • •Experience in well log data management (Well log conditioning, Splicing, QA/QC)
  • •Hands-on experience with AspenTech Formation Evaluation software (Aspen Geolog) and/or other petrophysical applications (PowerLog, Techlog, DecisionSpace Petrophysics, Interactive Petrophysics)
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a customer-first mindset
