Key Responsibilities

  • •Own PCBA/microelectronics manufacturing process engineering for Starlink hardware.
  • •Manage new product introduction for PCBA/microelectronics assemblies, including equipment qualification, line layout, tooling design, and DFM feedback.
  • •Implement, simplify, and automate high-reliability manufacturing processes enabling independent production operations.
  • •Identify trends and opportunities to optimize output, improve quality, and reduce cost of manufacturability.
  • •Drive volume production processes including manufacturing execution, nonconforming product management, configuration management, traceability, yield improvement, and process control; manage work instructions, process documentation, and training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a science and engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of professional experience in manufacturing process engineering, SMT, accelerated testing, design for reliability, PCB design/layout, or R&D.
  • •Hands-on experience with PCBA/microelectronics/semiconductor manufacturing processes and knowledge of IPC/JEDEC manufacturing standards.
  • •Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and manufacturing metrics such as CPK, yield, and OEE.
  • •Competency with SQL and Python, with experience using NX or other CAD software.
