Key Responsibilities

  • •Own complex customer, vendor, and third-party agreements end-to-end, including payments, money movement, deposit accounts, card, and lending programs.
  • •Build and manage scalable legal playbooks and templates, including inventories of contracts, terms of service, notices, and disclosures.
  • •Lead negotiations with high-growth fintechs and enterprise customers, balancing commercial priorities with regulatory requirements.
  • •Develop cross-functional contracting strategies by partnering with Sales and Business teams on goals, strategy, and risk tolerance.
  • •Support additional legal needs across the Legal team, including research, product and regulatory advice, exam management, subpoenas, litigation deliverables, and governance materials.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years as a practicing lawyer, with priority for technology transactions or fintech law firm experience and/or in-house experience at a fintech or financial institution.
  • •Experience driving complex commercial negotiations.
  • •Ability to independently draft and negotiate commercial agreements with strong knowledge of contract law and commercial transactions.
  • •Comfort with project management, deadlines, and juggling execution across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
