Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as team lead, project manager, and/or discipline lead on BRT planning, preliminary, and final design work.
  • •Oversee BRT infrastructure engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, and visual aids.
  • •Prepare and/or review multimodal street design and participate in interdisciplinary review of deliverables.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates, and prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Conduct quality control reviews, provide leadership/mentorship to entry-level engineers, and manage work to budget and schedule.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads or Power GeoPak or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design experience.
  • •US Citizenship is required for the role.
