Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform product quality monitoring using QC tools, including systematic and on-request analysis and reporting.
  • •Support data reprocessing campaigns by defining datasets, analyzing reprocessed data, and contributing to sensor/data anomaly investigations with relevant ESA teams.
  • •Assist Instrument Processing Facilities with implementation/validation of processing algorithms, verification, anomaly investigation, and transfer to operations.
  • •Develop ad-hoc data analysis routines, maintain support for QC tool verification/validation, and compile weekly/cyclic reports.
  • •Prepare scientific documentation/posters and support periodic service reports and coordination meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, data science, or a related discipline.
  • •Fluent English (B2 or higher) with strong writing and communication skills.
  • •Basic knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data processing and exploration.
  • •Experience developing utilities for Earth Observation data analysis/visualization, preferably in Python or MatLab, and scripting for Linux-based automation.
  • •Availability to travel to attend meetings.
