Key Responsibilities

•Administer and monitor underwriting rules, regulations, and rating manuals.
•Develop and maintain relationships with the external broker and agency communities and other internal Zurich business units to meet production growth goals.
•Provide superior service to our broker partners and customers.
•Identify and calculate the potential risk of loss from policyholders while establishing appropriate premium rates following Zurich guidelines.
•Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop a pipeline of business; collaborate with other stakeholders and lines of business within Zurich.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or Equivalent with 3+ years of experience in underwriting or market-facing roles (or 6+ years in claims/underwriting support).
•Knowledge of underwriting rules, guidelines, insurance laws and rating manuals.
•Strong relationships with brokers/agents and internal Zurich units to meet growth goals.
•Experience handling time-sensitive quotes for new and renewal business; ability to manage a portfolio of accounts.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
