Job Summary

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues escalated from other support teams, answering virtualization questions about deploying Fortinet products in VM and cloud environments. Build test environments, reproduce customer problems, and validate interoperability to develop best practices. Identify common virtualization and configuration issues and improve documentation/training. Provide input to product management and technical documentation teams, and develop a methodology to isolate whether problems originate in Fortinet products or the VM/cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot and resolve tickets escalated by other support teams, gathering information needed to solve the problem.
•Answer virtualization questions from customers about deploying Fortinet products in VM and cloud environments.
•Build test environments, reproduce customer problems, and test scenarios to establish best practices and assess interoperability.
•Identify common virtualization problems and follow up with documentation and/or training to address them.
•Develop a methodology to determine whether issues are primarily with Fortinet products or with the VM/cloud environment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 122,000 - 150,000 annually

•Expert-level knowledge in 1–2 virtualization technologies, including hypervisors and public cloud platforms.

•Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate and resolve complex deployment issues.
•Persuasive, precise verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with support teams and customers.
