Job Summary

Develop a customer-first retail banking practice by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessments to identify needs, recommend solutions, and cross-sell to consumers and small businesses. Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, then provide teller transaction support while working as part of the Financial Center platform staff. Build relationships through lobby leadership, tele-consulting, and outside sales activities, while maintaining risk and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and schedule periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and participate in outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and business sales calls as directed.
•Establish relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and refer customers appropriately while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Must be able to complete S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
