Lead Attentive’s AI-assisted developer experience platform, shaping how engineers build, test, and ship software across a large Java/Spring Boot Gradle monorepo on AWS. Drive architecture decisions and RFC/ADR work for CI/CD, local development tooling, service scaffolding, internal CLI tooling, and AI integration layers. Improve productivity, reliability, scalability, and usability while mentoring engineers and driving adoption of new workflows company-wide.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and drive the technical strategy for an AI-assisted developer experience platform, including context systems, orchestration layers, and tooling integrations.
•Lead architecture decisions and author RFCs/ADRs that shape developer infrastructure and platform standards across engineering.
•Build and evolve systems that improve developer productivity, code quality, and engineering velocity in a large-scale monorepo environment.
•Improve reliability, scalability, and usability of local development environments, CI/CD systems, and internal developer tooling.
•Own and evolve internal CLI tooling and service scaffolding to standardize workflows and improve service discoverability; mentor engineers and drive cross-functional adoption.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience building and operating large-scale developer platforms, CI/CD systems, or internal engineering productivity tooling.
•4+ years with build systems and continuous integration platforms such as Gradle, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Bazel, Buildkite, or similar.
•4+ years designing and scaling developer infrastructure within large monorepos or distributed service environments.
•Proficiency in TypeScript with hands-on experience building systems in Java and/or Python.
•1+ years building AI-assisted development tooling (coding agents, context systems, MCP integrations, or similar developer AI workflows).
