Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise producers on building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation.
  • •Visit farms to document bird comfort, manage flock and equipment settings, monitor bird health, and provide remedies when possible.
  • •Monitor feed consumption and order feed if necessary.
  • •Pull blood and fat samples as required and coordinate chick placements to farms, including assisting with catch schedules.
  • •Ensure compliance with the production contract and adherence to USDA and other government regulations; coordinate communication among Hatchery, Feedmill, and Livehaul departments.
