Key Responsibilities

•Provide entry-level support for construction, maintenance, environmental sampling, and technical field operations across multiple work sites.
•Assist field staff in carrying out service activities while developing core proficiencies in equipment handling, safety practices, data collection, and documentation standards.
•Observe and assist with basic inspection and testing activities, and troubleshooting in low, medium, or high voltage systems.
•Use testing instruments and support protection and controls testing, building foundational understanding of electrical system components.
•Follow site safety practices and proper use of PPE, and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervisors.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent
•Some experience in electrical testing or related job capacity
•Some experience or demonstrated interest in field service work, in medium and high voltage circuit breakers, power transformers, instrument transformers, and substation protection and controls testing
•Completion of electrical circuits analysis series, or other courses with AC power system theory
•Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
