Job Summary

Perform advanced inspection processes at the Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center, using tooling and measurement equipment to validate engine configuration. Read and interpret engine manuals, work scopes, and tolerances; inspect engine parts and modules; and ensure complete, accurate documentation (including fits/clearances and Engine Inspection Reports). Meet production and inspection goals in a team-oriented, FAA-regulated safety-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret engine manuals, customer work scopes, and tolerances to inspect engine parts and modules and validate proper configuration.
•Inspect engine parts and modules to confirm correct configuration.
•Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build, including fits and clearances and Engine Inspection Reports (EIRs).
•Complete and review engine package documentation.
•Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility.

Key Requirements

•HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
•1+ years’ experience in an aviation inspection role.
•Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) License, or 2+ years’ relevant experience.
•Experience with turbine engine overhaul, inspection, and repair, including precision measuring tool usage.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
