Key Responsibilities

  • •Under the direction of the Crusher Supervisor, maintain crusher/clay/raw storage equipment, buildings, and grounds by completing assigned inspections, housekeeping, and lubrication schedules.
  • •Follow plant safety guidelines and perform daily pre-shift and post-shift safety and operational inspections on equipment operated.
  • •Schedule and perform lubrication and housekeeping of equipment operated daily.
  • •Assist in safety inspections and environmental compliance with hazard controls as required by company, MSHA, EPA, and TCEQ.
  • •Safely inspect belts and feeders and assist with crusher and plant repairs as needed; relieve quarry personnel to meet production demands.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to operate various sizes of haul trucks (CAT 777, CAT 785, and Komatsu 785) safely.
  • •Maintain crusher/clay/raw storage equipment, buildings, and grounds by completing inspections, housekeeping, and lubrication schedules.
  • •Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines and perform daily pre-shift and post-shift safety and operational inspections.
  • •Assist in safety inspections and comply with environmental regulations and hazard controls (company, MSHA, EPA, and TCEQ).
  • •High school graduation or equivalent is required; minimum 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred; valid driver’s license required.
