Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level operational support for GCP data platform services, addressing complex queries, service disruptions, and technical issues.
  • •Lead design and operations of enterprise data security controls, including access restrictions, security workflows, metadata management, and data classification policy enforcement.
  • •Troubleshoot complex security and platform issues across security, transformation, and query execution layers; coordinate to identify root causes and implement lasting fixes.
  • •Drive GCP security hardening by remediating vulnerabilities, handling secret exposure incidents, addressing Prisma Cloud alerts, and executing dependency and container image scanning.
  • •Manage incidents and service requests as the senior escalation point, ensure timely resolution and stakeholder communication, and support documentation, change management, and knowledge transfer.

  • •Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience in GCP data platform engineering, cloud security, and application/platform operations support.
  • •Expert knowledge of GCP data platform services including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Firestore, Dataflow, and Cloud Run.
  • •Strong background in enterprise data security architecture and operations, including column-level and row-level security.
  • •Proficiency in SQL, Python, GoLang, or other scripting languages to support troubleshooting, automation, and operational workflows.
