Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical assistance and guidance for the design, construction support, and documentation of utility-scale substation electrical infrastructure projects.
  • •Create and review P&C design deliverables, including single-line and three-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring/interconnection diagrams, and panel documentation.
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze substation equipment, materials, and system data to support procurement packages, specifications, and pricing support.
  • •Perform electrical calculations supporting P&C design (e.g., auxiliary power systems, voltage drop) and prepare technical reports, sketches, schedules, and documentation.
  • •Review internal and third-party substation drawings and vendor submittals, maintain quality control, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with codes, standards, safety, and project objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •3 to 5 years of post-education experience performing substation protection and control (P&C) design for transmission and distribution projects.
  • •Demonstrated experience producing P&C deliverables such as control schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, and panel/AC-DC documentation.
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design processes for substation projects.
