  • •Coordinate with planners and reliability teams to ensure work packs, isolations and parts are ready before the window opens.
  • •Monitor working practices and adherence to safety procedures and regulations to protect everyone in the area.
  • •Oversee mechanical maintenance activities to maintain reliability and safety of fixed plant assets.

Key Requirements

  • •Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline (Fitter, Boilermaker or equivalent).
  • •Proven ability to lead and develop a team of mechanical tradespeople and Technical Officers.
  • •Experience supervising fixed plant mechanical shutdowns, including scoping, work packs, isolations and execution.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of fixed plant mechanical assets such as conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps and materials handling equipment.
  • •Understanding of asset management principles (optimisation, forecasting, lifecycle management and risk mitigation).
