Key Responsibilities

  • •Flies Air Arabia aircrafts from one destination to another following schedules and approved flight plans, acting as the ultimate responsible for the aircraft during assigned flights with priority on safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
  • •Ensures flights are conducted per Air Arabia Operations Manual and regulations, maintaining safe and smooth operation of the aircraft.
  • •Conducts pre-flight briefings to ensure crew are aware of flight details and responsibilities; coordinates with co-pilots and Dispatch Team for required information such as aircraft status, route, weather, fuel, and roles distribution.
  • •Ensures safety, security, fuel, and transit checks are carried out for each flight; directs crew on actions in case of safety or security irregularities and escalations when needed.
  • •Cooperates with Maintenance Engineers to confirm aircraft status and address defects with MCC/MRO support; ensures documentation and logs are accurate per regulations and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate CPL License is a must, ATPL is preferred
  • •He/she must pass the technical/psychometric assessment for Pilots as per Air Arabia/GCAA/CAA standards
  • •He/she must pass the Medical Fitness check-up carried for the Pilots as per Air Arabia/GCAA/CAA standards
  • •Training in safety and emergency response is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage
  • •Very good in written and verbal communication skills, Technical reports writing, presentations, etc.
