Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver and, where appropriate, lead flood forecast modelling and hydrology studies using tools such as Flood Modeller, PDM and hydrodynamic routing.
  • •Prepare and review model boundaries, undertake rating reviews and complete performance testing.
  • •Carry out quality assurance and independent technical reviews of forecast products.
  • •Produce clear, high quality client and public facing deliverables and contribute to the visualisation of complex data.
  • •Mentor less experienced modellers and support or lead bid proposals and innovative client solutions.
