Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop detailed budgets and cost estimates for pre & post contract stages, ensuring cost accuracy across the project lifecycle.
  • •Monitor and manage project costs to prevent overruns by tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving measures.
  • •Prepare tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • •Conduct quantity measurements, rate analysis, and risk evaluations to support cost-effective decision-making.
  • •Administer construction contracts (including change management) and deliver financial reporting such as final cost projections and forecasts to completion.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying with a strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • •Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • •Preferred: Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or working towards it.
  • •Experience using SPONS price book, Schedule of Rates (SoR), and BCIS cost index; knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, and JCT contract forms.
