Key Responsibilities

  • •Support multiple projects and teams with direct mechanical design and delivery activities across project phases.
  • •Perform specific and limited portions of broader engineering assignments, gathering/correlating engineering data using established procedures.
  • •Complete detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, proposing approaches to new problems and identifying discrepancies.
  • •Provide guidance to trainee engineers and perform work within agreed timeframes with supervision.
  • •Contribute to the development of technical proposals and support/lead 3D and BIM capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical building services design.
  • •Some design experience and knowledge of heating/cooling pipework systems, ventilation systems, and control systems.
  • •Experience using building services engineering software, including Autodesk Revit, with willingness to learn as a mechanical building services engineer.
  • •Knowledge and experience of mechanical building services calculations and design.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations, including familiarity with UK codes and practices.
