Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop a deep understanding of the business, products, and regulatory landscape to deliver contextual legal support.
  • •Act as primary legal advisor for assigned matters, leading legal delivery within your area of responsibility.
  • •Provide legal support across the lifecycle of commercial and business initiatives, including contract enforceability and cross-border legal risks.
  • •Draft, negotiate, and execute complex commercial agreements with customers, partners, suppliers, and strategic counterparties.
  • •Proactively identify legal and regulatory risks, recommend mitigations, and contribute to internal frameworks, templates, and best practices; coach and mentor the Legal team where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified lawyer with 6–8 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial law.
  • •Strong background in contract negotiation and advisory, ideally in financial services, fintech, or technology-driven companies.
  • •Strong legal research and analytical skills, with experience interpreting and applying regulations and legislation.
  • •Excellent drafting skills for contracts, legal opinions, internal memoranda, and business-facing guidance.
  • •Deep payments regulatory expertise is advantageous; must communicate clearly in English and manage a substantial cross-jurisdiction workload independently.
