Job Summary

Provide first-line managed services to keep clients’ IT infrastructure and systems operational. You’ll monitor environments, investigate and resolve incidents, identify recurring problems, schedule patching/configuration windows, and ensure smooth shift handovers. The role spans multiple technology domains (such as cloud, security, networking, applications, and collaboration), with a focus on zero missed service-level agreements and maintaining/creating knowledge articles.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions, proactively identify problems/errors, and reduce common incidents.
•Investigate first-line incidents to identify root causes, ensuring incidents and requests are resolved efficiently and comprehensively.
•Provide telephonic or chat support to clients when required and follow handover procedures to maintain service continuity.
•Schedule maintenance windows for patching and configuration changes, and report/escalate incidents when necessary.
•Update/create knowledge articles and contribute to project work, including disaster recovery implementation/testing as required.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data center, systems, storage administration, and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products in supported technical domains (e.g., Security, Network, Data Centre, Telephony).
•Basic knowledge of ITIL processes.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
•Relevant certifications for the services provided (desirable examples include CCNA, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Veeam Certified Engineer, VMware certifications, and others listed).
