Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate pulse welding equipment (including stud welder), cutting torch, plasma cutter, grinder, and jib crane to assemble leakproof seams.
  • •Check material specifications and dimensions on shop orders/prints against customer specifications for accuracy.
  • •Cut and trim material using oxygen-acetylene torch and plasma when required.
  • •Assemble and weld front plate, tank bottom, and tank body (including corrugate) to provide leakproof seams, then grind excess weld and clean unit.
  • •Stamp and assemble units, operate jib/bridge crane to position parts, attach shop orders, and follow product quality guidelines and weld quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education or GED from an accredited institution required.
  • •Completion of a 1-year technical school diploma AND/OR at least 2 years of welding experience in MIG and arc welding.
  • •Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • •No relocation benefit; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered (Active-Duty Military exempt).
  • •Ability to successfully complete Eaton’s Power Systems weld test with a score of 80% or higher.
