Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead FP design on projects, supporting the lead FP engineer on more complex projects and preparing design packages for various RIBA stages (drawings, specifications, reports, hydraulic calculations).
  • •Create Fire Suppression System solutions for multiple applications at all stages of design and perform calculations including sprinkler water supplies and gaseous agent quantities.
  • •Support remote project-delivery teams and conduct technical reviews to solve design issues with field investigations or inspections as needed.
  • •Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, authorities, contractors and other stakeholders to coordinate fire protection activities.
  • •Support the project manager on projects of varying scale, delivery and technical assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng, MEng or working towards it
  • •Engineering Council registration (CEng/IEng) or working towards it
  • •Experience in consultancy or related industries
  • •Knowledge of British & International standards and Building Regulations
  • •Experience with Fire Suppression Systems (Sprinklers, Water Mist, Gaseous Suppression, Risers, Hydrants, Hose Reels, Hypoxic Systems)
