Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the design and implementation of the AOCS/GNC subsystem for missions including LEO operations, reentry, and rendezvous/docking.
  • •Design, synthesize, test, implement, and verify/validate GNC algorithms.
  • •Implement GNC code into the flight software.
  • •Develop high-fidelity 6-DOF models and simulations; perform optimization, dispersion, and multi-disciplinary systems trades.
  • •Develop software automation tools and perform GNC software verification/validation using unit testing, Monte Carlo analysis, and software-/hardware-in-the-loop testing; report results.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc in Aerospace or a related engineering discipline; higher degree considered advantageous.
  • •Strong understanding of classical dynamics, orbital and flight mechanics.
  • •Strong understanding of control and estimation techniques.
  • •Experience with flight physics simulation.
  • •Software development experience in C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
