Key Responsibilities

  • •Run day-to-day operations of Environmental, Wastewater Treatment, Offal Facility, and the Water Plant, including housekeeping and safety.
  • •Supervise and train wastewater and offal department personnel; ensure safety rule compliance.
  • •Gather, test, take, and submit required samples and ensure all documentation is current and accurate.
  • •Manage wastewater department operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and reporting to management.
  • •Coordinate with regulators on permitting, expansion, and non-compliance issues; support permitting, investigate complaints, and participate in emergency/chemical release reporting and response.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of directly related experience (accepted year-for-year in lieu of education).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or similar field preferred.

  • •Must possess a minimum Class III Waste Water License or obtain an appropriate state certified license within twelve months.
  • •Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, wastewater treatment, and air permitting programs, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
