  • •Provide leadership for feature development, including design implementation plans, software requirements, coding, and software verification/integration testing.
  • •Implement major components, present design reviews, and coordinate with other organizations.
  • •Develop and conduct complex tests, and debug control and diagnostic systems using logical and mathematical solutions.
  • •Design and implement build procedures and recommend software production component selections to improve software engineering activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics/Aerospace Engineering, or related field with 8+ years as a Software Engineer, or a master’s with 5+ years.
  • •5+ years developing safety-critical embedded software using high-level languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • •5+ years of DO-178B development experience.
  • •5+ years of experience in the Avionics industry.
  • •2+ years of experience leading a project.
