Key Responsibilities

  • •Remediate security findings from ACAS/Tenable, STIG assessments, and other outputs through hands-on Windows Server maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • •Implement and maintain compliance with DoD security policies and directives (including DISA STIGs, CTOs, and OPORDs) to support CORA cyber inspections.
  • •Build, deploy, maintain, and secure server applications and proprietary software in accordance with security best practices.
  • •Develop, implement, and document mitigation strategies and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) for vulnerabilities that cannot be immediately remediated.
  • •Manage SecureView and the certificate lifecycle/PWK authentication requirements, and track/escalate vulnerabilities and non-compliant configurations while producing compliance status reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently possess a Secret clearance; be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI.
  • •Applicable DoD 8140 or 8570 certification (Intermediate required; Expert desired).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or 3 years of real-world/military experience in information assurance, network security, or systems administration.
  • •Strong systems administration experience with Windows Server 2019/2022, including patching and troubleshooting.
  • •Hands-on compliance experience implementing DISA STIGs and related DoD cybersecurity orders, plus familiarity with compliance tools and frameworks (e.g., ACAS/Tenable, RMF, eMASS, POA&Ms).
