Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct incoming inspections and tests (dimensional, visual, and/or functional) for manufacturing processes and received components against current specifications (drawings, EBOM, material standards, test specs, and manufacturing instructions).
  • •Ensure correct evaluation and disposition of nonconforming material identified in production lines or receiving inspection areas, including validating component/sub-assembly/product rejects.
  • •For incoming technicians, perform MFGPro and Wisper transactions for received and processed material, place nonconforming material into the MRB cage, and maintain inspection records including PPAP-related items.
  • •Generate DMRs/NCPs for suppliers in Wisper/QT9 and send notifications, then follow up on supplier dispositions for issued DMRs/NCPs.
  • •Support EHS and compliance activities (5S/MESH), assist line engineers in special inspections, and help investigate root causes and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete one pathway: Technologist degree in Electronics/Mechanics/Electricity, or Technical Professional Bachelor in Electronics/Electricity/Mechanics with additional technical courses; or a university engineering student with at least 120 approved credits; or a Bachelor with 1,000 hours of technical studies including mandated courses.
  • •1 year of experience in quality, engineering, and/or manufacturing operations-related functions.
  • •Knowledge of Minitab (preferred) and intermediate English.
  • •Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of technical drawing.
  • •Competence in EQMS-related procedures and quality standards for inspections and documentation.
