Job Summary

Lead electrical design and BIM execution for LV/MV power, lighting, emergency systems, and ELV/ICT components across high-profile building and infrastructure projects. Perform electrical calculations (load, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, protection coordination, generator/UPS, power quality) and produce detailed drawings and documentation. Build 3D Revit MEP models, manage clashes with Navisworks, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring IEC/NFPA/BS compliance and adherence to BIM BEP/CDE workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop LV/MV electrical power distribution systems for multiple building types.
•Prepare electrical calculations including load, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, protection coordination, and fault level calculations.
•Produce engineering drawings and documentation such as single-line diagrams, layouts, containment drawings, panel schedules, and detailed documentation.
•Design indoor, outdoor, and emergency lighting systems using Dialux or Relux.
•Develop 3D electrical BIM models in Autodesk Revit MEP and coordinate clashes with Navisworks across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•Minimum 8–10 years electrical engineering design experience in building services/MEP consultancy environments.
•3–5 years hands-on BIM/Revit MEP experience.
•Strong understanding of IEC, NFPA, BS, and other relevant international electrical standards.
•Experience delivering multidisciplinary building or infrastructure projects and coordinating within BIM environments.
