Job Summary

Own commercial finance for the Ads vertical, driving budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking through driver-based revenue modeling, inventory risk quantification, and revenue recognition oversight. Partner with Ads leadership to build multi-year plans, run scenario stress tests, and deliver weekly/monthly variance dashboards. Extend into marketing ROI measurement and loyalty economics, automate reporting in Workday, and translate ad-tech metrics for senior and executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the annual Ads budget and multi-year forecast, including revenue by format/placement/market and expense lines such as sales OPEX and ad tech infrastructure.
•Run monthly rolling forecasts in Workday using documented driver assumptions and perform growth stress testing for aggressive vs conservative scenarios.
•Build and maintain performance dashboards and indicators, performing deep-dive variance analysis and monthly plan-fact commentary.
•Own the Ads driver-based financial model from active users to revenue, validate growth plans, and quantify inventory allocation risk.
•Partner on revenue recognition and complex ad deal governance (e.g., barter arrangements, revenue share agreements, rebates) and support marketing ROI and product-driven growth modeling.

Key Requirements

•4–5 years in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering, ideally in digital advertising, marketplace monetization, or ad tech businesses.
•Strong ads industry knowledge of how digital advertising works operationally (programmatic vs direct sales, ad serving, advertiser buying behavior, inventory management).
•Build trusted cross-functional relationships as an embedded finance partner to Ads teams (product, sales, operations, technology).
•Proven experience owning annual budgets and multi-year forecasts, comfortable building growth models from first principles.
•Experience with driver-based financial modeling and digital advertising economics (impressions, fill rates, eCPM, CPM, CPC, programmatic vs direct sales).
