Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines on Databricks for batch and incremental processing using Microsoft Azure.
  • •Build data transformations with Python and SQL and follow established engineering standards and patterns.
  • •Support ingestion from enterprise applications, files, APIs, and event-driven sources.
  • •Design and maintain curated datasets across Lakehouse layers and perform data-quality checks, anomaly detection, and reconciliations.
  • •Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot failures, and partner with analytics, data science, and AI teams to provide trusted data foundations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Hands-on experience using Python for data processing and automation.
  • •Working knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming data.
  • •Exposure to Databricks (jobs, notebooks, and Delta Lake concepts) or a similar cloud data platform.
  • •Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and core data-engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data modeling, schema evolution, performance optimization).
