Job Summary

Perform depot-level diagnostic, fault isolation, and repair for diesel power generation equipment used with the Patriot system (Lechmotoren 150kW, 30kW, and 15kW). Carry out refurbishment/sustainment work including disassembly, cleaning, modification, refurbishment, reassembly, testing under changing load conditions, and completion of records. Support depot-level and Organizational/Direct Support maintenance using PMCS standards, safety procedures, and technical manuals.

Key Responsibilities

•Refurbish and sustain Lechmotoren generator assemblies by performing disassembly, cleaning, modification, refurbishment, and reassembly per technical manuals and refurbishment/upgrade procedures.
•Perform depot-level diagnostic, fault isolation, and repair for Lechmotoren generators.
•Provide oversight on Organizational and Direct Support repairs in accordance with US ARMY 10/20/30 PMCS Maintenance Standards.
•Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs, including ordering parts based on applicable technical manuals and procedures.
•Set up and facilitate the in-country work location, and may train local maintenance personnel while maintaining required safety practices.

Key Requirements

•Graduate of the US Army Power Generation Equipment Repairer (MOS 52D) course or a technical school/manufacturer course on diesel power generation equipment, or equivalent OJT/work experience.
•Minimum 4 years of experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repairing 15, 30, or 150kW diesel power generation equipment.
•Ability to test generators under changing load conditions and ensure performance meets or exceeds specifications.
•Ability to functionally test generators after repairs to assure compliance with design specifications and standards.
•Mechanical skills using common hand/powered tools and basic computer skills for record keeping and parts requisition.
