Job Summary

Lead commercial management for project work by supporting the project commercial team and protecting the business’s commercial interests. Drive growth and profitability through contract negotiation, drafting, and administration, budget ownership, and financial analysis with cost control. Perform market research, identify and mitigate commercial risks, and report KPIs. Manage client/stakeholder relationships and oversee bid and proposal submissions, while ensuring compliance and supporting HSE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the project commercial team to optimize commercial interests for the business through company processes and procedures.
•Create and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
•Oversee contract negotiation, drafting, and administration to ensure favorable terms, compliance, and accountability.
•Manage budgets and financial analysis while monitoring performance for cost control and profitability.
•Lead commercial risk management, KPI tracking, competitive bids/proposals, and mentor the commercial team while supporting HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience with 5 years in a supervisory position, plus 2 years GCC experience as a plus.
•In-depth knowledge of construction contractual matters and quantity surveying methods, techniques, and tools.
•Strong commercial and financial acumen, including negotiating, reviewing documents, and administrative accountability.
•Advanced proficiency in MS Windows applications (Projects, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and commercial/cost management tools such as CCS (Candy).
•ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills; professional qualification in FIDIC certification or CIOB/RICS is required/preferred.
