Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Commissioning Manager and support preparation of home office deliverables with the Principal Commissioning Engineer.
  • •Participate on-site in walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument component issues.
  • •Support commissioning team activities including manuals, commissioning/start-up spares, first fills/consumables, commissioning and start-up procedures, and equipment system checks and tests.
  • •Perform and participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing, and resolve operational/maintenance issues during tests.
  • •Supervise craft personnel for site pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and coordinate with other engineers and project/client stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
  • •8–15 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Minimum 5 years in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility.
  • •Prefer 2+ years of previous commissioning and start-up experience in the chemical/refinery/oil & gas industry.
  • •Proficiency communicating technical concepts; strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
