Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a team with direct-report and matrix responsibilities, setting targets, monitoring performance, and managing budget.
  • •Provide independent regional risk oversight for underwriting practices, new product development, reputation risk, operational risk, and risk accumulation.
  • •Serve as the conduit between local management and global risk teams through quarterly and annual risk reporting and stakeholder coordination.
  • •Interpret and implement local external risk management requirements; maintain relationships with regulators across the region.
  • •Support global risk management initiatives and participate in local and global projects as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading and developing international and/or virtual teams in a complex global matrix environment.
  • •Experience leading change and delivering large-scale international projects across multiple business scenarios (e.g., restructuring, integration).
  • •Up-to-date, hands-on expertise in risk management (industry or professional recognition preferred).
  • •Proven ability to communicate results to a range of stakeholders, including senior management.
  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in mathematics or another analytical/quantitative field; actuarial/financial designation (e.g., CFA) is an advantage.
