Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to isolate and repair malfunctions.
  • •Use diagnostic equipment and vendor documentation to support troubleshooting and repairs.
  • •Conduct technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area.
  • •Monitor and audit line performance and provide guidance to line operators.
  • •Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 18 years of age or older.
  • •Currently enrolled in a Technical Certificate or Associates program in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or a related electronics field.
  • •Thorough understanding of vacuum, RF, AC/DC, and digital electronic theory.
  • •Ability to assemble, disassemble, and reassemble complex mechanical assemblies.
  • •Flexible to work day or night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
