Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure Micron’s environmental programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and compliant with management system and regulatory requirements.
  • •Support site sustainability goals by participating in committees and providing input to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
  • •Present environmental matters to Micron leadership and local/state/federal agencies, and complete required environmental calculations and reports.
  • •Coordinate, manage, and conduct environmental walkthroughs, inspections, and audits to ensure operational compliance.
  • •Investigate incidents and events, determine root causes, implement containment and corrective/preventive actions, and verify effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •Ensure environmental programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and conform to management system and regulatory requirements.
  • •Perform accurate environmental calculations and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
  • •Conduct applicability determinations on environmental regulations and make objective decisions supported by verifiable facts.
  • •Complete internal auditor training and assist in EHS management system internal audits.
  • •Provide environmental training and customer/technical support for environmental issues and regulations.
