Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and hand tools. Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers, ensure equipment performance and customer satisfaction, and follow safety standards while maintaining accountability of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining products/equipment at customer locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC units in a commercial environment using blueprints/engineering specifications and hand tools.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Salary: USD 25.7 - 47.35 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent violations, including DUI, hit-and-run, or reckless/careless driving.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to work in the field with occasional overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as needed by the business.
