Job Summary

Develop and optimize NVIDIA’s low-latency video streaming capabilities for GeForce NOW, enabling high-definition cloud gaming across devices. You’ll design new streaming and interactive functionalities, improve image quality, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability, and analyze GPU/CPU performance to remove bottlenecks. Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop new video streaming functionalities that deliver interactive experiences.
•Innovate and build features to improve image quality, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
•Analyze GPU/CPU performance for the video pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with GPU hardware/software teams to maximize performance.
•Develop tools and capabilities to measure video quality and evaluate improvements with high confidence, including regression detection.
•Apply machine learning/AI models to build adaptive streaming algorithms that minimize artifacts while achieving the lowest latency under varying network conditions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related area.
•Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
•Strong understanding of real-time GPU-accelerated video pipeline performance, including encoder behavior and latency optimizations in distributed/cloud systems.
•Familiarity with API frameworks such as Vulkan, CUDA, OpenGL, and DX.
•Solid understanding of video codecs/toolsets (H.264, HEVC, AV1) and debugging complex streaming systems for reliability and stability.
