Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete field inspections and related activities (e.g., reading maps/aerial photos, measuring fields and storage bins) for complex crop loss claims
  • •Discuss findings of crop loss with farmers and convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants and industry contacts
  • •Perform fact-finding on crop damage, record information, and transmit loss information to support indemnity determinations
  • •Ensure legal compliance by maintaining knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • •Conduct claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned and participate in team projects as needed

Salary: USD 22.4 - 30.87 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area
  • •RCIS Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire
  • •Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the territory
  • •Valid driver’s license
  • •Ability to walk in agricultural fields, climb storage bins, lift 25–50 lbs., and work outdoors in varying conditions
