Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement trade compliance policies, protections, and infrastructure aligned with ITAR, EAR, and local country laws/regulations.
  • •Develop country-specific classification decision rationale and methodologies, and leverage AI for risk-mitigated determinations.
  • •Apply for, manage, and oversee country-specific export authorizations, ensuring compliance with license scope, provisos, and associated conditions.
  • •Provide guidance and training to regional teams on ITAR, EAR, and country-specific regulations, including J/C training curricula and methodologies.
  • •Oversee compliance assessments, identify/mitigate export/import authorization risks, and support investigations and corrective actions when issues arise.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years experience in international trade compliance.
  • •Strong understanding of U.S. and non-U.S. export regulations, including relevant classifications for aerospace parts, electronics, IT equipment, encryption technology, and navigational hardware.
  • •Ability to understand engineering concepts across software and hardware to craft trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
  • •Ability to travel +25%.
